Why did you choose to do art?

I am a student at the University of Birmingham and I am doing a
dissertation on Homelessness and Art. I have volunteered for Crisis Skylight
over the summer and I attended the Ten Feet Away exhibition in London
this summer, and heard about your charity there.

1. Why did you choose to do art?

2. What is art to you? Leisure? Business? Social? Therapeutic?

3. Do you consider yourself an artist? What is an artist in your opinion? Lifestyle? Job? Hobby?

4. What kind of art do you create?

5. What are your influences?

6. What does your work mean to you?

7. Is art important? To you as the artist? To other people – the audience?

8. Do you feel the art course is beneficial to you? The other members?

9. What does the future hold for you? Qualifications? College? Studio? Job?
